Hello there

I placed my order for my Hot Chocolate Clubman S with black roof, bonnet, wheel rims, and interior about a month ago and I am excited to know it is en route for its West Coast port of entry. I fell in love with the color and made little hesitation in ordering it.

Its funny that after nearly 8 years of not owning a car (though using Zipcar in place of) I can hardly wait for it to arrive and be ready so I can accept delivery.

Add me too! just picked mine up and it's awesome! practically 2/3's the hp of my old rsx-s and it feels just as fast, more stable, and better engineered. got silver/chrome everything and the comfort access is priceless. unfortunately the dogs already have fur all over the interior, the bugs have coated the front end of the car and the rain ruined the rest of the new car detailing. oh well... I'll put up pics soon!

Hi everyone- it's HOT CHOCOLATE SEASON! <does the snoopy happy dance>
So, two Mayfairs eh? Saw one a few weeks ago, before I knew what was going on and had to do a double take!

Uh, I think Lady G is hogging all the newbies cookies.

Hey lady G, thanks for the welcome. I put 2 pics in my gallery(1 at the dealer and 1 in the garage). The weather here in New York hasn't allowed for any nice photo ops. I also hate to admit how dirty it is right now. I was checking out your pics and it looks like a couple were taken on the dragon. I was supposed to take a bike trip there a few months ago but it fell apart. I am hoping to do MOTD 2010 if I can get the time off. I know I am preaching to the chior but these cars are a BLAST! I'm glad I bought it.

Yep, there's a forum for it. Check it out HERE.

My first set of tires (The Dunlop 17" RF's) lasted 13k miles. And that was pushin' it.

Thanks! My car has the 16inch all seasons, the dealers up here won't even order cars with the big rims here. I will be upgrading to something z rated in spring. I REALLY want bigger rims but the roads up here are AWFUL and eat big rims with low profiles. I had a jaguar with 18" rims and I had to downsize to 17"s because i was going broke making pirelli rich! I was lucky my friend actually cracked a piece off a rim on a pothole up here!!!!

Hey! Somehow I got unsubbed from this thread. I thought everybody'd gone into hibernation or such. Hate that the car gets so scroady this time of year. Drove home in increasing slush last night. Other than seeing the stability control come on several times, not a problem. Now, the other ying-yangs on the road were another matter.

I see no reason to discriminate against Mayfairs. After all, they are the proper color, even if they do have a funny name. Welcome.

We need to get a count of who in the HCOC is going to the Dragon. My wife and I are going, our third. I figure LadyG will be there. Who else?

A sad day for a new member. My 2010 less than a month old Clubman S may never motor again! An unlicensed Minivan driver has destroyed my first MINI, I am going to post a pic to let you all know what a safe car you have purchased. The van flipped on its side the and the driver and passenger were removed by way of the windshield by rescue workers. I was wearing a seatbelt (they were not) and was able to find my cell phone, open the door, call 911 and check on the other people involved. My thoughts are with them. If he cant be fixed I hope to be able to replace him. The car was truly the most fun car I have ever had the pleasure to motor and definitely saved my life.

I am sorry to hear about your Mini. I am glad you are ok.

I would like to add my name to the club. I just purchased a 2008 MCS Hot Chocolate Clubman with 11K miles. It has the Cold Weather, Premium, and Convenience packages, with the Xenon lights, JCW spoiler, roof rack, and sports suspension added on. She is a blast to drive. The weather has been bad here in Italy lately. I am looking forward for it to clear up so I can take a nice ride. We had one clear day so I went out and got a couple pics.
