Wow! That cabrio is about the best looking Mini ever.
Maybe because our snow is still deep and ever-present here. At least mine has a warm garage and gets cleaned regularly.
Come summer and clean cars for all!

That's the passenger side "Club Door." It refers to doors that hinge at the back. I first heard them called that on the 60's era Lincoln Continental.



Wikipedia has a remarkably good explanation.

 

I thought LuvMyCoCo Mini was referring to the doors on Coconib. Coconib is a Hot Chocolate Justacooper Mini, not a Clubman. There are no suicide doors. The passenger would simply depress my "Panic" button.

Wikipedia features the Delahaye. Now, that's an automobile to die for that carries a suicide door.

Oh, pink or baby blue are sensational, very Ralph Lauren. I have a pink rubberized pompom that I use as an antenna bauble now and again. it melts in the sun, so I can't just leave it on the antenna. My British tan upholstery has a light Tiffany blue thread running through it. Absolutely smashing combination. It's actually a crazy looking octopus pompom thing and I changed its use to an antenna bauble.

Well, I took delivery the week before Christmas and have been busy ever since. I've always been a fan of the old school hot rods, and wanted some of that influence reflected in my MINI, so let me know what you think.

I know - I should have closed the garage door.

Old School pinstripes in Beige (matches Polar Beige piping and color-line in interior) and Orange for a little "pop" of color. S-scuttles are having the chrome section painted Beige w/ Orange "S". Should be done by end of week. Will keep the amber signals to match the Orange highlights.

Replaced the front emblem with a classic Von-Dutch style Flying Eyeball. After all, the MINI emblem is a circle with wings on each side.

Close-up showing Beige and Orange belt-line, and Beige highlight on mirror. Extra set of mirror caps also being painted in Beige along with scuttles.

Side handles painted in body-color. All of my painted parts were done by Mark (OrangeCrush on here) of Collision Specialties. He does FANTASTIC work!

Rear shot showing MagnaFlow exhaust and beltline trim carried around corners of taillight surrounds. I think this helps the beltline visually flow around the corners.

A little Beige highlight on each door pull to bring the outside inside.

Painted headlight rings and grill surround.

Painted fuel cap.

JCW Intake and Strut Bar.

NM Engineering springs - 1.2" front & 1" rear. Ride is great and handling is awesome!

Hot Chocolate Lounge leather w/ Polar Beige piping and colorline w/ English Walnut accents.

Needed some color between the seats so I added the HC shifter boot & handle, e-brake boot & handle, and I re-upholstered the armrest cover in a matching Polar Beige leather.


All I'm waiting for now is for Jan at RMW to get the tune done for the 2011's!

Im still waiting to see this tiffany blue! I finally saw your other pic but it was really little and I couldn't see the inside! lol I think you are being stingy with the pics missy!

I love it with pink, too, but it has to be the right kinda pink. NOT Pepto pink, y'know?
