I just bought my wife a 2010 hot chocolate cabrio and want to add the chrome around the fog lights. It looks like the bumper inserts are different on the factory chrome package cabrio than her no-chrome so I need to buy the primered bumper inserts that the chrome surrounds snap into and have them painted hot chocolate. Any hot chocolate owners have any repair paintwork done? I'm wondering how hard it is to match to the factory.

I am the proud owner of a 2011 Hot Chocolate MINI Clubman. I have dreamed of a MINI for 8 years. I am working on my signature and hope to have pictures soon, but could not wait to sign up.
P.S. Every time I think I have come up with a name I find that someone else already picked it, so that will have to come later too!

Anyone have a good photo of gold racing stripes on a HC bonnet?
What does anyone else think about the varieties of brown that BMW/Mini is starting to use, like the Countryman's Toffee, or whatever it's called?

I like it too!! Something I found interesting this last weekend... I went to California to find a house (moving from seattle) and I saw SOOOO MANY MINIS!!! 
Like EVERYONE had one!! Its not like that here so I was shocked! EVEN MORE SHOCKED that even though like every other car was a mini... I didn't see a SINGLE brown one!! I've actually never seen another brown convertible ....
I love that even though MINI's are a dime a dozen there... WE THE PEOPLE OF THIS GROUP hehehehehe have a rare color! We are different and I LOVE that!!!

me too! When I found out I was moving to cali I told my husband, "Hey maybe I should test drive a MINI convertible." I kid you not he did a U-turn right there in the middle of the road and took me straight to the dealer! HA!
Hes was trying to get me to drive one for YEARS but I was like nooooooo I dont think I'll like it..... I test drove it and looked like this the whole time!!! I bought my mini that day... I fell in LOVE with the chocolate brown! Its classy and almost vintage looking!
Love at first site for me!! ♥ ha
