Nice HC photos
Thank you! ...for posting some great hot chocolate pics. I'm ordering from military sales in Spain, and I've not been able to decide between BRG and HC. Your photos have won me over. Thanks again

No problem. However, the HCOC Executive Committee did meet to consider your "numbering out of turn" offense. The unanimous verdict was that you must double up on your cookie payment to LadyG! Motor On!

looks great!
mine is very similar. black wheels, HC brown, white top. i changed the mirrors to body color and i feel that really sets it off nicely. i also don't have bonnet stripes, but i do have stripes on the side toward the bottom of the door.
nice to see another HCB cooper S!

Black Wheels with HC
Fellow HC Appreciators-
Great posts recently. Bigcoyote- love your gallery with those full size Clubman images so nicely lit.
The HC with the white top is a great color combination that I've never seen. Can't do it on a Clubman, can we?
My over-winter project centers around my 17" summer wheels becoming all pitted and nasty looking after two summers of light use. I asked for a replacement but got a 'no reply' from the regional rep. Mind you these were $3000 with summer performance tires, which were retired after the two summers, so it's a hefty investment. [I exchange the wheels in October and April rather than have the tires pried off.]
So- the fix for me was found in the inspiring photos here of Hot Chocolate MINIs with black wheels! There's a place nearby that does electro coating for $40/wheel, lots cheaper than buying new ones, so the chrome becomes black.
Now I get to choose my new summer tires, which appear to be Michelin Pilot Super Sports at this point in my research.
Note these are my oem wheels, 16", which do winter duty with their Hakkapaliittas Rs i super sticky snowmobile-esque tires.
BTW- Cocoa has 43k, and has a fourth birthday coming up in March. One more service date coming before I'm without warranty, so I'm making a little list for my last service call. I've had few issues in general :-)

Thanks. I love the look too. Couldn't figure out what you were talking about for a while. For some reason my picture got got flipped when I uploaded. Just a reverse image of the drivers side.

I thought that may have been the case. I couldn't tell from the background and it looked as though the steering wheel was on the left and from the shadows it looked like the second picture was from the passenger side. I thought it was a new feature LOL.

Here's some photos to liven this up a bit.

Hello again, HC Appreciators-
Does anyone with a non-S Clubman, or regular MINI, have a non-chrome grill on their Hot Chocolate? I've seen plenty of them on the turbos, of course, but I'm trying to wrap my mind around a non S hood with a JCW black grill, or possibly just the chrome one painted black, or body color.
I like the tougher look of the black grill, but I also enjoy the heritage aspect of the classic chrome. If I paint mine black, is there any way to get the chrome look back later?
I've seen a few on white and yellow Justa Clubbies, but rarely on a black or brown one, the exception being the Goodwood trimmed black MINI, but I still can't see that transformed onto a HC Clubman.
I'm hoping someone has some photos of the transformation.
