Spray the grill with Plasti Dip. If you don't like it you can rub it off easily.

Wow, bombshell. I was wondering how long it ( Hot Chocolate) would last, and cheering for both directions. I like the exclusive part of history, but I love to see the color thrive. I keep building new ones on the Mini USA site, variations of HC.
How do we all feel about this?
Put me down as split, or ambivalent.
And Farewell Laser Blue! My second favorite.

Both the color and the top. Part of the email I received:
Discontinued Options: As you know, MINI is all about customizing and making your MINI completely YOURS. And even though all the options can be overwhelming at times, especially when custom ordering, it's still one of the things that makes MINI unique and like no other vehicle on the road today. We wouldn't want it any other way. From time to time, MINI will change and discontinue different options and colors. There are 3 exterior colors that are no longer available for ordering: Hot Chocolate, Laguna Green and Laser Blue. However, there are still some models getting ready to head into production that we might be able to reconfigure for you but you need to get in touch with us right away. Also discontinued: Hot Chocolate roof on the convertible and the Green Lounge Leather seats for all models.

Paint on rear doors looking flat?
Hi - "Coco Chanel" (Hot Chocolate) Clubman (wife's car) was in need of a bath this winter and I was elected in a contested vote to wash her car. Afterwards, I noticed that the paint on the rear doors looks decidedly less shiney than the rest of the car. We live in the Rockies and I'm sure the car gets more than its share of mag chloride splash that hangs on the back of the car. We're not the original owners of this sweet ride. I'm wondering if it's been poorly repainted or if there is another issue working here - like a different material used in the doors, perhaps?
Anybody have any experience with this?

My Clubbie doors look just like the rest of the car after 4 years, but then it's cleaned regularly at the spray wash.
I think there must have been salt hanging out on your car's boot for longer than desirable. The back end of the Clubman is a debris magnet anyway.
Maybe you could repaint them and then just keep them clean forever?

Thanks a lot Torch. I've been slowly working on her. Next looks like a set of Porsche brakes. I had an extra set sitting around from my 996TT. I'd like to work on the the suspension but I wanted to commute with it and I'm thinking it might ride a little too stiff. When I get a chance I'm gonna have someone take some pics of all the cars and hopefully wallpaper-worthy stuff. I've always liked the JCW grill and it when it finally went on I feel like its just changed the look so much.
Added a little orange "Actual Size" sticker, I liked the cereal box-look. A few people asked me for a corner shot of the rear pillars to see the paint-match and black. All of that was originally silver, down to the bumper. I love this look SO much more, it looks like it should have come from the factory like this.

Hi guys,
I've been the owner of a 2011 MCS in Hot Chocolate with white roof for just under year, but just found out this thread.
Don't have too many photos of her but I am so glad I went with this color and I haven't seen another one in same color scheme, same trim in SF bay area (we have so many minis on the road) yet.

I can't figure out what happened. All of the numbers are in order and I have not deleted anyone. Do you remember what number you were? I will put you in at #170 if that is okay.
