Thanks! I am very pleased with it. In all fairness though, I did polish it 6 times using Griots level 1, 2, & 3 polishes (twice with each) then topped it with Collinite #845 Liquid Insulator Wax. I used my Porter Cable 7424 Buffer.
Believe it or not, I made out quite well! Financed $21,700 with some negative equity in my trade. Still below NADA retail. Plus I found out after the fact that it has the 72mo/100k Maintenance warranty good until Aug. 2014! Normally I would have ignored the whole deal due to being upside down, but since I was able to get the MINI at what I felt was a great price I looked at the negative equity differently.
I love the car and it stickered at $36,850 new and has more options than I could afford to replace it with, I am however having a bit of buyers remorse on not getting the Countryman strickly for the 4 doors (I have 2 kids). So I am guessing I won't have this too long. I'll probably just have an open ended attitude about keeping it very clean and low miles on the off chance I find a buyer willing to pay the note off unexpectedly without advertising. I'm paying more than the min. payment each month, so my balance should dwindle faster than depreciation. If I don't get serious about flipping it I do have a beautiful example of a 2008 Clubman S with a warranty that is also an absolute joy to drive!

Tell me how long did the polishing take. I wasn't familiar with Griots but I did some research on the web and the stuff looks very good.

This month we bought a 2009 MINI Cooper "S" Clubman Hot Chocolate/ silver roof and rear quarters, wing mirrors.
We love it and have just completed a round trip from Colorado Springs to Scottsdale AZ for Christmas.
The car was a pleasure to drive and we averaged approx 30mpg.
Will post Pics once she is cleaned and polished.
