I've been thinking about getting some silver paint and matching the chrome with the roof, I'm not a big chrome fan. I'm also thinking of using the silver around the inside edge of the lower grill...

Well, I might as well contribute some. I haven't posted any pics of my R55 since I bought it!
Here he is at Detroit Tuned with the factory 16" satin grey wheels and run-awfuls:
And here's the after shot, with 17" Motegi MR121s and Conti ExtremeContact DWs:
A shot outside where the lighting was better:
I've also added tint to the windows, and the obligatory 5hp Detroit Tuned stickers! Next, a carbon fiber beltline (you can see a test strip of the vinyl on the outside shot...it looks hawt in the sun) and some stripes!
ps - yes my cell phone camera sucks :(

I bought it off the lot, but yeah it seems autos are hard to find but they did have another hampton but it didnt have navi.
Didn't even know if it was a hampton till I got there, the dealer website said Reefblue/Red roof. Took my chances and glad I did. Love the color, gotta get it tinted (live in South Florida) in the morning. Always wanted one of theses special edition minis, never thought I would stumble into one.

Reebus, those covers look good. Do they just snap on? Any chance of a pic with the brake lights on?

They are a plastic film that is layed on them. It Helps to use a heat gun or hair dryer. It really does take some time and patience. I'll see if I can get a brake light pic (and better picture in general) sometime this weekend.

Some minor updates..
Got new tires..wore out my Yokohama S.Drives in about 10,000 miles...went to my old favorites Nitto Neo Gens.
Also tinted my front yellow reflector side markers with VHT Night Shades. I removed the reflector, painted it with 3 light coats, wetsanded it, clearcoated it, sanded and polished. It looks much better now. I kept the rear one red to keep within my red/black theme.
Also got the MINI Roof Rack. Oh almost forgot the tune by WMW.
This pic was taken yesterday at Cars And Coffee in Irvine. The truck next to it belongs to my friend David Sylican. He rattle canned the matte finish in his garage with his son.
