US Diesel
I wouldnt ever say never. With NObamas failed foreign energy policies (or policies of any sort), Diesel popularity may gain some traction if gas prices spike again. With their mountains of torque, a Diesel S might be something I'd look at. I debated between a VW TDI and Clubman S when I was shopping last February. As I'm here posting on the site, you know who won.

Considering lowering springs with Koni FSDs. Germany's roads are awesome and do well with the stock suspension, but when I PCS stateside, I might need more...

In my opinion changing struts with new springs is kinda a waste of money. You can get a good coilover setup for around the same price that will allow you to change ride height for where ever you go. Also you can get setups that allow you to change your dampening for a harder or softer ride depending on road conditions. I have seriously been looking at BC racing BR series for this summer. Just my opinion though. If you need help installing what ever you pick up let me know. Got it down to 2 hours for all four at the hobby shop.

HAHA, looks familiar!
I'd bet it was the ring that did them in. I put about 75 laps on our clubman on the ring with KW V1 coilovers installed. When I removed them a few weeks ago, the front left and right rear were leaking when placed horizontally on the work bench. I've heard that 1 lap is equivalent to 1,000km of normal wear and tear.

New to me as of a few days after the new year, a 2012 JCW Clubman. We enjoyed the wife's new 2012 Clubman S so much for the last two months, we needed another in the driveway. I traded in my 2008 S hardtop for this. These photos are from the day after delivery. Modifications are already in motion.

Many great looking cars on here, but THIS just sold me on the Clubman as my next car! Amazing colour, excellent in combination with the wheels! Beautiful!
