Some of the shots you suggested are impossible with an amateur camera but there are some new ones in my set that may help.

Donna and Mike... I love the pictures of your Clubman and Morris Minor!!! They look great together and the Clubman is really intriguing me!
And I miss California so much! I recently moved back to NY, but I don't think I'm going to last long... the winters look much better in California. If I get back that way sometime in the next few years, I'd love to see the Morris Minor in person.
Congrats on the new MINI!!!

I know what you mean about those East Coast winters...burrr....we spent many a year in Virginia and the last winter we were there - 2003 - did us in - LOL! 2 1/2 feet of snow over 3 days - ugggg....I still have nightmares about all the shoveling - hehehehehehe.
We'd love to have you visit if/when you get out this way. I'll take ya for a spin in the Morris! I have to admit, it gets WAY more attention than the MINI ever did. I have people stop me all the time to chat, or I find business cards on the windscreen when I come out of a store. It's fun for sure - not fast - but hey - it's still British

The Traveller may appear larger but it isn't, except for the height. According to the spec. sheet we have, it is 149" long and the Clubman is 155.8". The Traveller is 60" wide and the Clubman is 66.3". The height on the Traveller is 60" and the Clubman is 56.4" - so there ya have it... The rear doors on the Traveller are bigger and bigger glass.
My unofficial non technical review of comparing the MCS to the Clubman is: it drives very smooth. The shifting is very smooth. It doesn't feel like you are driving something longer than the MCS. I feel that all of the pictures of the Clubman are very deceiving. The lines of the car are much nicer when you see them in person.
I know some folks have complained about the rear pillar where the doors meet - having issues "seeing" out the back. For me that was a non issue. However, I'm used to it, having the same set up in my Traveller. But, I can understand where it would take a bit of getting used to for peeps, as the rear window in the Clubman is noticeably smaller than the MCS. But that all goes away within about 15 minutes - LOL!!!
800 miles to go before the "break-in" period is over...

As much as I've bad-mouthed the Clubman, I must say, after seeing several of them in person today, they're not as hideous in person as they appear on photos. Seriously, they're not awful in person. They're not as long as they appear in pics. And they do have some practical features... like a real back seat.

Donna, thanks much. It must be the height that makes it look larger in your photo. I've heard that the longer wheelbase attributes to the smoother ride.
Sounds like you've moved over to the Clubman side .
