Honestly, no offense meant, but of all the various blues that Mini offers, that one is definitely my least favorite. It just looks drab to me. I imagine it's prettier in person, perhaps the photos don't do it justice.
However, ya still gots ya a Clubbie S, and that makes you a-ok in my book! Have fun with it, I smile EVERY time I get behind the wheel of mine. And I take a look back every time I walk away from parking it. Lord, I LOVE my car!!

rlw,
Color is such an individual choice. There is no right or wrong choice....well not completely true....I have seen a very very light wimpy blue (extremely diluted) color many, many years ago on a Ford Pinto...It was terrible. In my case, I have been driving a 1998 red metallic Honda Prelude (on My Gallery) for 11 years. That was bold and flashy....and after 11 years...take a look at that finish ! It will match any new car finish. That photo was taken March '09 ! So, I was looking for something different and not so showy/bold. The HzB is kind of a classy but not flashy color. It's also different...just like the MINI is to other cars, the color is a bit different than the shades of blue on other cars.

artfulmini,
Actually, today in daylight it was lighter and more greyish than the above photo I posted. It was more like 50 % blue and 50% grey/silver. I like it !!
I have only been driving it for a few days now and each day I like it more than the previous day. The seatback position is great, the ride/handling....it's everything I wanted ! Now if I can only get the hang of all the buttons/switches, indicators, etc. Think I have to take a training course.

I really like the new Horizon Blue also. I tend to go for the understated colors myself and think it looks very classy. In fact it is the first Clubbie color that appeals to me with the silver trim. In general I prefer the black trim/roof combos, but I really think the HzB looks great with the silver. Enjoy your new Clubbie!!

I did the factory tour last month and saw both the Horizon Blue and Mellow Yellow; not impressed with either. HB seems to me that it can't make up its mind if it wants to be blue or gray and takes on the least offensive traits of both. Now, if the Nightfire Red had been available when I ordered back in October, I could have been tempted; there is one at RAF Lakenheath that is just gorgeous

Do you care what I think of your color? Probably not. So why make statements like that, you know no one cares.
Here I'll try ... Honestly, no offense meant, but I don't understand why anyone would buy the leatherette interior (and put a seat cover on one seat) and manual climate control. I think it really makes the car look plain ... like a Hyundai!

Looking into wheel possibilities for my future HzB Clubman... Here's an amateur attempt at putting jbcola's first wheels and my old MR2 Spyder wheels (Kahn) on OLarryR's Clubman. Opinions?
p.s. just found there's a Clubman Wheel thread, so I copied this post there (might be better to reply to this on the wheels thread):

I also like the first ones. Wolfeee's are also real nice.
I don't know how they would look on a MINI if you could even get them made for a MINI but the wheels that are on my '98 Honda Prelude, I have never seen the swept back dynami look on any set of wheels except on that Honda. (Photo on my Gallery.)
