"Scheduled for Production" build status

My Clubman has moved from "On Order" to "Scheduled for Production". Anyone with a recent order know about how long before it's built? Order went in last Friday, 02/15.

It'll be in the paint shop by Friday. By that, I mean it'll be done by the end of the week.Be sure to call 1-866-ASK-MINI for more detailed info. Next week, you can start tracking it!

From my experince, you might be in the paint shop by this weekend. Sometimes it goes very fast.

But then you get to sit on the dock.

Congratulations.

Watchin' the tide roll away?

How long to ship to USA, and where does it dock? I'm in NY.

You can check out the MINI factory in Oxford, England on Google Earth. You can also see where it gets loaded onto a train, and you can follow the train tracks down to Southampton. You can see all the MINIs sitting on the dock waiting for their ship to come in.

I think the boat ride is about 8 or 9 days long to NYC. That's where it docks. And barring no complications, it'll spend very little time at the VDC, and then get trucked to your dealer.

From what I can tell, there's at least one boat a week. You should stop in over at the week8/9 support group forum:https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=129441

tim781996-
were do you find the "owner's club" emblems that are part of your signature?
Are they somewhere on this site, or did you do them?

You can call me Tim. I found the Hot Chocolate one in the Hot Chocolate Owner's club thread. Then I click on gallery and did a search for Pepper White to find the Pepper White badge. No way do I have the time to do this stuff myself. I shouldn't even be in this forum, let alone actively participate in the graphic design element.

Well, you can call me Tim, as well! I guess I'll have to wait for the "Lightning Blue Clubman Owner's Club" emblem to pop up. Thanks for the additional build info, I called the hotline (1-866-ask-mini), and was told my Clubman completed today! The very helpful MINI rep also told me a "best estimate" for delivery to the dealer was 3-4 weeks at the outside. I just put my current BMW 325iT wagon on Cars.com, trying to get a little more than the dealer's wholesale price trade-in offer.
