So, it's not a person, but...

Let's see... in this pic, the seats are up and I've got a bunch of stuff crammed in there, including:
Wash Bucket (full of wet towels)
Ralphs wine carrier bag filled with Prima products (that's Clarity sticking out the top)
Cargo box that came with the Clubman is stuffed with a Living Spaces soccer ball, two sweaters, my workbag w/laptop, and my not-so-small purse. Everthing is topped of with my floormats, which have been replaced with some clear plastic ones until the weather gets better. Notice there is plenty of space for more...

Yea with the front wheel off. It fits snugly but it fits. I'm riding a large (56cc) frame as I'm 6' tall so anyhting smaller for sure will fit. My old Lexus SUV I had to take to front wheel off as well.

Miniman3,

I've been curious as to the option of putting my bicycle in the car for short jaunts to the ride start point. Spacey enough for two bikes and cycling duffel bags? I've opted for the roof rack and carriers, but may only want those for longer trips w/ multiple people.

You could squeeze two road bikes in but it would be tight with the bags. Not sure how big the bags are but you could put them on top of the bikes. I lay my bike down with the seat on the drivers side right before the rear wheel well. The rear wheel up against the passenger seat. The tribars / handlebars are facing up at the back doors with the front tire off.

Assuming your riding a road bike you won't have to deal with the tri bars which should help with the space. Short trips you should be fine. I didn't do the bike rack as I don't trust leaving my bike up there plus I'm in and out of parking garages all day with my job! Would hate to run my bike into the ceiling! I would forget it's up there until I smacked it into something.

Hope this helps.
