Im not feeling it. I see that it is following the original, but it didnt look to good back then either. maybe its the body color throwing it off.
I would be curious to see a dark vehicle with light wood trim. maybe that would work.
Looks kinda like someone just scribbled over a few of the panels with a magic marker. I'm not a big fan of woody cars in general, but I'm sure that it can be done better than this.

Surely a MINI woodie can be done better than this. The trim and roof appear to be green... no good. And, what a lousy interpretation of wood... it doesn't even look like wood. I'm sure there will be better examples ahead.
By the way, I can't wait... I've decided... my next MINI will be a woodie!
At first I thought that this was just a really bad photoshop job, but then I clicked on the link and found out that this is a real Clubman, with a custom makeover by an Italian custom car design outfit. I'm sure the orders are just flooding in...
Castagna did a nicer looking woodie "Clubman" back in '03 before there was a Clubman...they just stretched a coupe. They really did some nice interior work on these, too.
