Does anyone have any pictues of a Clubman S in Sparkling Silver with black roof and C pillars? I think this would be a great color combo, but haven't seen any yet.

 

I have it on my R56 and love it. I also have front and rear Viper style strips and it goes very well with the Sparkling Silver combo. I'm sure it would be very nice on a Clubman but haven't seen any Clubmans in person in California yet.

 

Big Jim, we've ordered one exactly as you describe. We should have it around the first week in April. I'll post some pictures after we get it.

 

Saw one on the lot Saturday and it looked so good I changed from the PW/B that I was going to order and went with the SS/B.

The international (UK) configurator (see other post) has a much better representation of the color than the US configurator.

Darn, finally a color that makes a Clubman look good. I would not order it in any other color combination. I may have to revise my dislike of the clubman appearance after seeing it.

thank you all. I've been doing a lot of my browsing over iPhone the last few days. Makes it tough to scour really well. Think I'll probably go with sparkling silver though. I'm finding myself drawn to it the same way I was the Royal Grey/Silver combo when I was ordering my R53.

 

Here are some pictures pulled from the Mini UK configurator site wallpaper offerings. Having seen Sparkling Silver in person, I can't vouch for the accuracy or saturation of the color in these pictures which seem pale to me, but, when I look at the paint on a Mini in person, it appears to me to change color depending on the nature, amount and direction of light shining on it, which may be true of most, if not all, metallic paints. I would have named the paint "Sparkling Champagne" which is what the color looks like to me (and to my wife who is an interior designer).

I agree with this post 100%. I have an R56 in SS/B with black sport stripes, and I imagine if it looks this awesome for me, it probably looks incredible on the Clubman as well!

my dealer in albuquerque had one when we went to get our crcs. it has a slight gold tint but much to my surprise both my wife and i thought it looked great. might have gotten it but it didn't have the options we wanted. great combo with the black roof

 

I picked mine up yesterday. Hubby says it looks like a miniature Bentley :-)

 

YOU have great taste. I also picked up mine yesterday.

Remember, if we park next to each other, mine is the one with the stripes!!
