On Friday (Aug 08) I spotted a PS/B Clubman with black bonnet stripes going west on Creosote Rd., towards Three Rivers. The first Clubman I've seen in my area.

Unfortunately, since my Clubman isn't here yet, I was driving my husband's humongous Avalanche.

 

Today, at around 2pm, I saw a hot chocolate clubbie on RT 137 in Pound Ridge, NY.
I didn't get a wave back. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I was in my Jeep?

Saw my first Clubman from my Clubman. Along the bayfront in Sarasota today. Very nice looking JustaClubman Black with Silver top. And yes, we did wave back.

I have not seen a single Clubman in our area yet. I have seen a handful of hardtops, but not a single Clubman. I have waved but since I don't have mine yet I haven't really gotten any waves back. Must be the "evil" SUV I currently drive!

 

I am very proud to see how enthusiastically this thread has grown overtime since I first conceived it.

Today we went out to buy some furniture and nearly every car in the road was looking at us, pointing their fingers at us and even received thumbs up from a family riding alongside a VW Tourareg SUV.

This car really turns heads. Is amazing!

 

Here in "MINIland" (Miami) Clubmans are still very rare. You see here 50 different flavors of MINIs every single day, but Clubmans are still a rare sight.

MINI is keeping US Clubman production very low and this is only helping us maintain our high resale values overtime.

 

Saw a Silver and Black Clubman S at the Espanong Market yesterday (8/9)..still had Prestige plates on it
and a Lightning Blue and black Clubman at the Willobrook Mall today (8/10) parked in front of Bloomingdales.

 

This morning on the way to work, I had my first "Clubman in the Wild" sighting! It was a GORGEOUS NFR/S , driving down Lockwood as I was waiting to turn left off of 17 onto Lockwood. I about gave my husband a heart attack when I screamed "It's a Clubman!"

So when folks are waving...his there a "special wave" or are you just regular waving? If "special," how is it done?

 

Special = Waving like a crazy woman (me)

Regular = My husband waving

Guy Nod/Smile while turning corner = guy in a Dark Silver Mini we waved at this morning

So I guess that means - WHATEVER FLOATS YOUR BOAT!

 

Passed a H/C Club on Baltimore 695 around 7am near Perring Parkway exit. Cool to see another club on my 1 week anniversary of delivery.

I'm in DC for a few days and have only seen a handful of Minis. I thought that I would see more! I did see one Clubman yesterday downtown. Makes me want mine all the more.

 

MiniBoz..I live around DC and I have NOT seen another Clubman! I purchased mine on Memorial Day, and not seen a single one..my wife however has seen two, one parks in her parking lot off of North Cap St.

Well it finally happened...had to go to Costco to see another Clubman S!
Drove to Anne Arundel Mills Mall to the Costco, as I was getting ready to park, lo-and-behold there was a Red with black strips Clubman S parking across the lot! I could not believe my eyes, and yet there it was! I was thinking of parking close, but I was already parked and was a little shy. As both couples (red clubman couple and my wife and I) walked towards Costco in the parking lot I walked over to the isle they were coming down. I must have been real obvious that I was looking at the car that a guy parked in the handicap area yelled out "I like yours better!".
Never have I seen such a wonderful thing, anothe Clubman! I asked the driver if it was a JCW, he said no, but it looks like one! He said he had all the bells and whistles (as I do -1)...I asked if he was a club member, he said yes, hopefully he will see this post!

Alright, so we took our new Clubman out across the Golden Gate Bridge today...I saw three traditional Coopers and waved at all three. The drivers of all three looked a little confused. I'm now bashful about waving. I think it's maybe a connection Clubman owners have with other Clubman owners.

On a more positive note, there was a Volvo next to us at a stop light that motioned for my wife to roll down the window and asked us how it was with kids. We told them it was our first day out with the family, but so far so good. When I told him it was 37 mpg, his jaw almost dropped. They said they love our color (CR/S w/ sport stripes). Would've talked more, but it was our turn to turn = P

 

Rasputinj and I just ordered our 2009 Clubman - PW/BLK/MCCS, manual...

Anyway...I drove in to the parking structure at work on Friday morning and saw the cutest sparkling silver Clubman! I was jealous that person had their's already!! But happy to see one!!

I live in Miami and I have only seen one clubman and it was a Hot chocolate like the one I am hoping to receive next week. I happen to see it while on duty near Brickell ave. I almost made the fire engine crash because I scared the crap out of the driver when I spotted it. LOL Can't wait to drive mine.

A Pure Silver/Black Clubman S driving down our street. When they saw my Sparkling Silver/Black in the driveway they slowed down to admire. I was almost driving at the time!

 

I finally pulled off seeing my first Clubman while driving my Clubman. 'Twas a Hot Chocolate about a mile from my house. It's been 5 weeks since I took delivery. The draught is over and now I can rest easy.

 

Ah yeah but it occurred only in a parallel universe were I was able to make it that trip and back to Orlando!
