I was driving on the 405 freeway this morning and a guy in a Black/Black Clubman S pulled up next to me and started giving me thumbs up and stuff. It was pretty cool. It was the first time another Clubman owner has actually acknowledged me, haha.

 

Been here in Las Vegas 4 weeks on Monday and just took the UK plates off Thursday . Driven around quite a bit and other than Desert MINI (kind of tired looking dealership) haven't seen any other Clubmen around; where do they all hide out at?

 

Oh no!! No Clubmans??? rasputinj and I bought our Clubman last year at Desert MINI and have visited them since eventhough we live in California. Keep your eyes open! Hey - why Vegas and not the UK anymore??

 

Saw a nice black with silver Clubman S this afternoon in Simi Valley...followed the new Clubbie for quite awhile (it didn't even have plates)...we were going the same direction, so no, I wasn't stalking!

 

Why Vegas? Work for the Air Force and that's where the job is at now.
Did finally see a Mellow Yellow this past Saturday coming off the frontage road to the 215 Beltway crossing over US 95; no wave

If you see an HC-S on 128 over the next few weeks make sure the driver is behaving. My buddy is driving it for a few weeks and I'm driving a GMC truck that gets 1/3 of what my Clubby gets for mpgs

 

madison, wi...hwy 151 heading northeast...about 5:20pm...black w/ silver trim and new york plates scooted by me.

Had my first clubby from clubby spotting today, Red Justa with Black roof and pillars - two asian ladies driving, though even when I was grinning like an idiot next to em, they didnt even notice or care about me. :(

 

Rt 44/55 westbound in Poughkeepsie NY on Tuesday, saw a Pepper White one with black stripes on bonnet and boot.

Driver didn't see me though and I couldn't catch up through the lights.
Maybe next time.

 

Coming home from school this evening from LA to Venture County I saw 4 Clubmans - 3 on the 5 freeway (2 PW and 1 HC) and one on the 118 freeway (blue)! Pretty exciting!!

 

i94 waukesha county, wi heading east about 1:45pm...i passed a laser blue w/ silver trim mccs.

 

OldLoad, I live in Texas and in the 9 months I've owned my Clubman, I've seen only THREE. You'd think a state this big would have a few more!

 

Oh, I forgot...this past Wednesday coming out of In n' Out in Simi Valley, CA, a black Clubman was pulling in. I waved and smiled and he waved and smiled back! Yippee!!

 

I saw a black clubbie with silver roof, black jack mirror caps and a yankees licence plate holder outside a Sears in north central CT. It had Mass plates. Anyone on NAM?

 

Saw another one on the Taconic Parkway around mile 22. It was BRG with silver and stripes, heading south at about 6PM.

 

Saw a Brown with Silver finish in the back on the 91 east near yorba linda last saturday, cute blonde lady driving - i honked exitedly and got my first ever wave/honk back from another MCCS owner (yay!)

Today, i finished up my guiness and hot wings at wingnuts in Costa Mesa and was surprised & excited to see THIS nose to nose with my clubby in the parking lot

Monday night I went "back to school shopping" with my daughter and wife in our new Clubman-S. I parked way out in the middle of the parking lot at Kohl's in Macedonia Ohio. When we got back, a black and silver CCS was parked next to us...it was pretty cool. By the way the parking lot was a sea of SUVs and minivans. Sorry no pictures it was pretty dark.

 

Clubmans are still a rare sight in Temecula, CA. Even rarer to see a twin!



This HC/B had MN plates, black stripes, fog lights, and a roof rack. So it wasn't an identical twin, but a really close match.

I pulled up along side her and kept pace for about a mile on Temecula Parkway (Hi 79). The attractive young driver did not even glance in our direction. Frustrated, I pulled up ahead of her and changed lanes away. She pulled up along side us at the next light and finally gave us the smile and wave we wanted. I gave her a forgiving wave while my daughters in the back flashed the V sign.

Made me think, though. If Clubman drivers won't bother to acknowledge other Clubman drivers pacing in the next lane, how can we ever hope to achieve world peace?

 

markFM - I hear you! That's nice she finally acknowledged she migh have something in common with you!! I never get that...what would kill someone to wave or smile?? Nice sighting, though !

 

Saw 4 clubbys tonight in Laguna Beach and on the way there on the 405 - strange, never seen so many in a 30 minute period. Too dark, dont really have a description of each
