Saw a blue Clubman with two white center stripes on the bonnet yet only one strip on the barn doors at the Prime Outlets in Pleasant Prairie, WI today.
dark silver/black mccs heading east on i94, just outside delevan, wi yesterday around 7:15pm. no look, no wave...guy was too busy smoking. driving pretty slow too......i passed him like he had a walker.
I was pullin out of Albertons in Costa Mesa 2 afternoons ago, and suddenly there was a white JUSTA clubman with a blackroof and racing stripes behind me (my twin, only justa, and racing stripes instead of sport stripes)
Drove up I-15 from Vegas to Ogden, UT on Friday; didn't see a single Clubman
On Saturday, went to Wings & Wheels at Wendover; still no Clubbies but did find this great 64 Morris Traveler
Back to Vegas on US 93, still no Cluubies but, in all fairness, not many cars at all...
Spotted this Dark Silver Clubman and had to come back for a picture with Pipra on Main Street in Damariscotta, ME!! Sorry it's kind of grainy, it was at dusk. Matching roof and black C pillars, Thule rack, an S with Vermont plates. Anybody here?
I have some mini or clubman later in central Jersey recently. For some reasons, they don't really like to wave a their other clubman fellows. Has anyone notice this lately in Jersey or just me they don't like??

Weird. It's the opposite for me: other Mini owners don't wave. Only Clubbie owners do.

There is a woman at work and I drive past her all the time in the parking structure - she in her BRG Clubman and I in our PW. She NEVER even gets eye contact with me...something MUST be wrong with her.
rasputinj and I saw 3 Clubmans (not including our own) last weekend within a 5 minute timespan and not one of them waved or even looked our way. People are so unfriendly .

Sorry to hear about your experience with some fellow drivers on the unfriendly roads. I have had similar experiences and often ponder how a fellow human can be in a Mini and NOT want to wave at other Mini's as if they are loons on laughing gas. I know I do. Sometimes I become sad for them because it is clear they are using their Mini as a, dare I say, a common car.
I attribute the lack of decorum on two things:
A lack of training provided when the owner became a motor’r versus just another driver. The motoring advisor at the dealer may be too overburdened with just getting the car out the door to really explain the heritage behind the car and the community. Obviously, this has the possibility of inhibiting the new owner from becoming an evangelist of the brand as well as preventing long-term loyalty in terms of repeat sales and accessories.
The driver could just be a mean person. I’ve noticed this trend increasing over the past year or so. Sure, there are many things to attribute to a person souring but hey, you’re in a Mini, how bad can it really be?!?
My tip to all folks who have been snubbed by someone impersonating a Motor’r is to keep on giving the Hang Loose wave and keep on motoring. It’s best to wave without that weird stare that scares men and women alike also take off the ski-mask. Just a suggestion.
