How many did you think you sold after your sales pitch in CT?

 

After seeing NONE in person for months, saw 2 in the last 3 days...1 SS in Belmont, CA and one Yellow/Black in San Francisco...my husband and I are now in the habit of saying "MINI" every time we see one and one of us has to turn around and check out the boot. Ahhh, only a few more days....

 

Well, they all seemed interested, two acted as though they were thinking about it but one in particular seemed serious. Should have pulled out my MA's card.

It docks at Pt Hue... tomorrow, and then it goes into the void. The dealer "guaranteed" delivery 2 weeks after docking, so that gives me plenty of time to tweak on the boards. On the other hand, 670 MINIs are on the ship, so we may be getting some more Clubman sightings in the near future. *sigh* Patience is not my strong point...

 

Understandable about your feeling impatient, but soon you'll be driving.

So here we go - driving East on 287 in NY, I spotted and passed a really great looking MCC in Sparkling Silver/Blk with CT plates. Her passenger smiled as we exited and they stayed on heading for 95.

 

Saw my first Clubman (a blue one) in Washington DC - Capitol Hill - I was motoring w/ mine but the other one was parked..

I can't wait to post my pic there...Wubzy is much like Stewie, but with the PW top...rest assured, many many many pics will be in my gallery!!

Meantime, I must placate myself with sighting other MINIs...Clubmans that is, still only 2 live and in the wild for me.

 

They're multiplying around here! Pulled into the local pharmacy and there she was a MCCS Silver/Silver with a Silver Jack Flag on its roof. Should have had my camera with me. It looked quite good and I believe it had a sun roof, too.

 

I was just traveling south bound on 405 from Bellevue and spotted a Lightning Blue MCC. Scared the crap out of my driver when upon seeing it I screamed there's my car! We're multiplying!

 

It's a new and much friendlier version of the Pod People - the Clubmen!

 

I went to go get my windows tinted at the place the BMW/MINI dealership uses here in the Twin Cities...and there was a Hot Chocolate Clubman in the bay finishing up when I pulled in! Brown leather with piping and all. I asked how many Clubmans have gone through the shop, and he said "5 today!" My jaw dropped pretty much.

But that's a good thing- it meant there would be no problems getting the tint just right in my car!

Geez...5 Clubmans in a day!

I don't think I can, I tried under the user settings. I've been Accordselux on so many car forums my head spins, sometimes I feel it's like my reputation!

 

Just saw a beautiful AB/AB Clubman parked in downtown Rockville, MD. First one I have seen yet in outside of the dealer. Cool!

Sorry I missed it, I was cruising the Pike around the same time and missed both of you. I have mine on order so I am lusting after any and all minis at this moment. Even got my wife to play along with me. Hope to see you on the road in the next couple of months.

 

I saw a Clubman while driving my Clubman. I was driving east on I90 near Ludlow, Mass. when I saw a PW/B headed west. Also, there was a cabrio two cars back and it looked like is was carrying a large object like a book case in the back. Gotta love the head room in those babies.

 

Just saw a black and white Clubbie at Target!

 

I saw a PW/PW Clubman in the Greenbrier region while driving my Clubman on a Sunday drive. The windows were blacked-out like a limo .. making the Clubbie look very sophisticated. Didn't think that was a great combo until I saw one. It totally looks like a different car!

 

I had a month of exclusive Clubman rights up here in northern lower Michigan, seeing about 2 or 3 MINIs a week, until one day...it was coming at me in sparkling silver with a black top- had to be a Clubman, and it was! I had mixed feelings :-) Most Mini drivers around here wave or flash, so rare are they, but when I got to D.C. on vacation, it was like two Civics passing in the night.

 

I am glad that the PW/PW combination looks cool! (I hope it is nice without the "blackout" tinting, too!)

 

Just saw a PW/B in Redwood City today, driving past me....freaked out my kid by stammering MI-MI-MI-MINI!!! CLUBMAN!!! It was beautiful... made me want mine NOW. Must be patient, picking up on Saturday...but at least I'm not alone in my home town

 

While I won't be ordering a Clubman until this fall, my family and I totally have the bug. One of my daughters and I saw this HCC parked out front of a middle school here in Longmont, Colorado, on May 15. We were dazzled! It was brand-spanking new, with the manuals and some paper work lying on one of the seats. (FYI, it was purchased from the only MINI dealer in the state, Ralph Schomp.)

Other than the two we've test driven, it's the only one we've seen.

 

wasn't there with my Clubman ... but was in Miami this past weekend at the MTTS08 kickoff event.

Just saw made my second Clubman sighting - parked: a Silver/Blk with exterior chrome in Rye, NY with NY plates. Very nice looking.
