Its not included because MINI would want to charge you for the option for it just like everything else. Cruise, LSD, Xenons, Sunroof, Leather, etc...

We've had our Clubman for less than a week, and I agree with you completely. I've also found that the seatbelt can get "wedged" between the door and the seat back, and you can't get it without opening the door.

I've just ordered the "Seatbelt Holder PR" product (link:
http://new.minimania.com/web/SUBTYPE..._Inventory.cfm). They're $49.95 for a set.

I ordered a set of those.. but didn't care for them once I got them installed. Brand new, still in the box.

From outmotoring.com:

http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...lt_holder.html

NOTICE: We have determined that after having too many of these parts returned that they are simply not living up to their claim so we have stopped selling them. They seem to be a good product made by MINI but over time we had too many customers break them under normal conditions. We recommend NOT purchasing them from ANY source as they are all the same.

Try folding the seat backs and they come apart.

BTW there is a guide on the seatbelt that will force the clip to rest over your shoulder near the point where the seatbelt comes out of the b-pillar. Works way better than any accessory.

The same thing kept happening to me. There is a little moveable plastic sleeve around the seat belt that fits behind the hasp. Just slide the sleeve up enough so that the hasp rests high enough that it can't get caught between the door and the seat. And it's standard equipment!

+1 They are JUNK. They constantly unclip from the plastic mounted to the headrests. Best solution is to move the seat belt clip up, as another post suggested.

I use schroth racing harnesses in the 05 cooper S. I'm wondering if I can use them in the Clubman as it is a longer reach to the rear seat. The nice thing
is they just clip into the rear seat clips. Easy in easy out.

The reach is the same. The only thing missing in the Clubman from the R53 are fully height adjustable front seat belts.
