Cost to Color Match?

I think I have settled on the colors for my Clubman. It's looking like a British Racing Green w/ Black Top. My choices might change based on costs for color matching the rear pillars and bumper. I see that a couple people have done it, but I haven't seen costs. What's it run?

TIA
Bill

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also do it yourself. Paint Scratch will sell you the appropriate color in a spray can (or by the gallon, if you prefer). I've never used them before, but if you're taking the parts off to paint them it's probably a weekend's work and relatively cost effective. I plan on at least trying this if/when I get mine (the Minspeed pieces are my Plan B).

MINI should make body color c-pillars an option.

Anyone have a PDF 'how to remove the Smile panels' yet? I would consider a DIY project if the panel removel instructions were available.

If your talking about the panel above the bumper. It snaps on, just push the tabs out from under the bumper ( some are bent just a little). On the MC you can touch them on the driver side and work slowly across to the passenger side. You'll also need to remove the tag lights. Took me about 15 minutes to get it off. I took mine to local shop and had them color matched all in two days time. $300.

Lil Stinker, I'd love to see some pix of your Mini after you had the color match done.

I'd like to see pics too. I've been considering getting rid of the silver halo too and body matching it dark silver.

Sorry I love the Silver contrasting bits. This is what gives the car its unusual looks. Seems to me that color matching the plastic trim in the back takes away from what makes the car special to begin with.

But, like everything in life, one man's poison is another's medicine.

If anyone is interested, I am selling a slightly scratched silver color left tailgate trim finisher for the Clubman and a slightly scuffed rear left black plastic wheel arch.

Both pieces are in excellent condition otherwise and can be prepped for painting if so desired. Send me a PM if anyone is interested.

LiL Stinker, you were able to unsnap the panel on top of the rear bumper without removing whole rear bumper to get to it? Just trying to clarify since I'm not seeing the snaps.

Don't quote me on it, but I think you still need to remove the rear bumper cover in order to access the plastic tabs and remove the top silver or black portion of the cover.
