Lorne, I'm very sorry you had such a bad experience. Your salesperson sounds like a rude idiot and my guess it that he'd behave the same way no matter what profession he was in. If you lived in the Westchester County/Fairfield County areas of NY or CT, I'd be happy to introduce you to about 5 or 6 really, good Motoring Advisors who are worth their salt - and would never ever behave that way. I hope when you get a call from MINIUSA or fill out a form that you're honest about that experience - they need to know.

True - the service advisors and the mechanics are the real key, nevertheless the MAs should be good, too. Fortunately the the MINI dealership I have taken my MINIs to has good folks throughout.
