Haven't seen many Clubbies in MY.

Would you please raise your hands?

Mine is as follows, and is on the water as I type this.

MY/Blk w/ Leatherette, Piano Blk and Yellow Colorline. HiFi, MFSW, fogs F&R (couldn't stand the thought of blank toggles ), auto, sport seats, cold weather package.

Went back to add Anthracite headliner, but it was already in production. Once it arrives, it will get 17" black Konig Feathers. Still undecided about stripes, and want to black everything out and possibly do the handles and headlight rings in body color. I also have two Hella 3000's that will go in the center of the lower grill (I'll fab the mount myself).

I'm as giddy as a school girl on prom night (if a 44 year old man can feel like that ).

We had the car all spec'd out at order placement, MY with a MY roof and black caps. Then the other half got cold feet.

It may have had something to do with me joking about a checkered band at the sill and vanity plates of "Momstaxi".

Yes, there is another mellow yellow mini clubman! Mine is on its cruise to CA right now. In fact, its ship is scheduled to go thru the Panama Canal tomorrow! Plan to log on to the Canal webcam and see if can catch the ship going thru. He (I know it is a boy from the ultra sound. No name yet though!) is supposed to disembark in Southern Cal on 7/23 then make its way to Northern Cal. Hope to be driving my new baby by the end of the month!!!

Picked up mine from the dealer today, and we just got home. My dog
is still recovering from the shock of moving from the back seat of a Ford
Expedition to the Clubman, which is a tad smaller . No pictures yet,
but may have some after our trip to Truckee this coming weekend.

 

I'll try to build my gallery tonight. I have only seen one other MY Cooper in Charlotte, and it was a hardtop. Can't wait to see picts of the others in this thread. I'm constantly getting compliments on the shade of yellow.

Would love to see pics of your MY Clubmans. Getting anxious to see what mine looks like since I have never seen a real Clubman in MY ever. They didn't even have a MY Cooper when I ordered either. Have only been able to sneak up behind one regular MY Cooper on the freeway and peak at the color. Fortunately, with all the traffic jams around here, it was going slow and got a relatively long look Mine will have the black roof, pillars and bonnet stripes. Wondering if the stripes are too much contrast, but sort of figure with yellow as the base color you might as well go for it! How does the MY colorline with piano black look? I hope it looks sweet since I got that too.


BTW, extremely jealous of the nice long ride mysmcc is getting to take tooling up I-80 to Truckee!

Just saw a new MY with a black roof in San Diego. Tried to wave, but they were going the opposite direction on the 8 freeway, kinda hard to wave across a freeway divide.

Hopefully they'll stop by here for the wave they missed.
