Foot Pedals

So on my test drive, I looked down at the foot pedals and they were a nice aluminum with rubber stipes for grip. But I notice ours have very plain black rubber pedals. I don't recall seeing these in the configurator, are they an option some where?

Ooooh, I like = ) How much should I expect to pay? And is it a job for someone who's not mechanically inclined?

I have the aluminum, too.

What package is it part of? I don't see "foot pedals" listed anywhere on my configuration.

I drove a non S that had aluminum on my test drive. I ordered a non S and I've got rubber peddles.

I found some at Moss Mini for 90 bucks. Not the same though. I'll need to go OEM on those. In another thread someone suggested Classic Mini. Maybe this is a opportunity to try them.

I'm not 100% sure, but they might be part of the Clubman S package. I'm hoping so - I'd love to have them on mine!

My Clubman S also came with the pedals. A nice surprise since I hadn't noticed them mentioned anywhere. I only have a minor gripe that when I push the clutch down my left shoe was getting caught sometimes on the left foot rest. The dead pedal is a bit wide and it took some change in orientating my foot so as not to rub the dead pedal, It looks like I could trim a 1/2 inch off the side of the whole thing with a little work. If you look at the placement it doesn't make much sense why the dead pedal is so wide and more clearance space wasn't put there.

I haven't had it happening much since I adjusted my foot placement, but it could cause me to mis-shift sometime in the future. Anyway I plan to trim it over a 1/2 inch once I get the time. A small adjustment should be possible by trimming the block and pulling the carpet tight.

When I was deciding whether I wanted to go with an S and non-S Clubman, my MA told me the 'surfer" pedals were part of the S package.

That's what sold me on the S package. ......Just kidding!

Matty, what is that on top of your dash over the central vent? Just curious.

I have a 2008 MCS with the aluminum peddles.......there was nothing on the order sheet about such peddles either being available as options or included in any of the packages.

I could be wrong, but I think they come with every S version. I do not have the sport package or the chrome package, but I have the aluminum pedals. Also, every S I test drove had them.

Same here. I don't have the sport or chrome package, but I do have the aluminum pedals. It must be an S thing.

Pedals are S feature.

You can buy them for about $150 - $200. There is a different part # for manual vs automatic.
