not a great pic, but

I wish the pic was better, but in the Clubbie were 2 very large guys, 6 radio controlled submarines, full support gear, and a week's worth of luggage (luggage already removed in this pic, and in the hotel room). On the roof is a 7' Yakima ski box, with a 6.5' long R/C sub, a 3.5' long R/C sub, and some assorted support gear.

And, Nigel managed to average 34 mpg for the 1800 mile journey

You do know, there are far better things to do with a full grown woman?

He could've offered a spare.

You obviously didn't ask for the optional Auto Wench. It has to be specified!

I used to bring my girl friend into the drive-in movie in my MGB with the tonneau cover in place and she curled up under the passenger half. Now I know what to do with my Clubman shelf.

Maybe I should change my screen name to Auto Wench, or better yet Mini Wench

CUTE!! I'll see your Lab and raise you three 75lb Labradors!

I need to get a better picture of them. There's actually a lot more room behind them that they are not using in this pic.

OMG - your labs match Lady G! You have a HC lab, a Tuscan Beige lab & a black lab (like Lady G's Pillars!).
Now THAT's cool

Cute!

Very beautiful labs LadyG, IMO dogs make the best cargo/co-pilots -- my reason for the Clubman and I will post some pics of what will fit in my Clubman when I get it .

Lady G, I luuuv Labs! My neighbor had one and it was one of the smartest dogs I've ever met. I'd play catch with him and then, when it was getting late, I'd just say "Thanks, run home!" The dog always obeyed. I used to own an Alaskan Malamute. She was also very smart. In fact, she was top of her class at obedience school. The school gave my dad a trophy too! If I have time in my life for a dog, I still wouldn't be able to decide between a Lab or a Mute.

You have one of every flavor! I'm so jealous! I really only have time for one, but my heart is big enough that I'd have three too!

ok - I thought this might merit a posting, especially since my wife laughed at the possibility of fitting an entire crib plus mattress inside the clubbie. Sorry, was rushing out the door to deliver the crib and only had time to snap a couple of pics - back seats folded down, passenger seat leaned forward in order to accommodate an extra long piece. bonus: won the bet and fifty bucks from my wife!

oh, forgot:

yes, a crib will fit inside a Clubman!

LOL - someone should forward this post to the person that posted "MINIs are horrible to sleep in!" Leave out the crib and keep the mattress inside!

I discovered last week that I can fit a Pelican 1620 waterproof equipment case behind the back seats. The thing that makes this possible is the second, vertical position of the back seat backs. I stumbled upon this by accident, but haven't yet checked the manual to see if it's documented there. The bracket the seat back attaches to (at the outside edge of the car) can be folded up. The seat back then latches in place, but about 4 inches farther forward at the top than normal. This would allow you to put more cargo (suitcases, or a Pelican 1620 case) in the back and still carry 4 people, though slightly less comfortably than usual.
