Shur Grip Z vs. Spikes-Spider tire chains

hi all. seems most of you who motor in the snow are using either Shur Grip Z cables or Spikes-Spider tire chain systems.

are either or both of these "factory approved"?

i have an 09 clubman with 15" wheels. thanks for any help!
