Is the Clubman "S" floor flat when the seat is folded down?

Is the Clubman's "S" floor flat when the seat is folded down or does it kind of raise up just behind the front seats? It's just one more thing I forgot to check out when I did my test drive.

Thanks...

There is a small slot that runs from side to side when the seats are down that is covered by a flap of plastic and carpet. My dog steps trhu it if her beds are not in the car, so be careful if you have pooch or get something like a nice bed so that they will not fall down into it.

Well... when the seat is folded down is there a latch or something to hold it in that position?

The plastic fabric covered area is where the seat back folds down and the rear cover meet. The gaps is about 2" wide by the width of the inside of the car and goes down about 5". The plastic covers are made from 1/8" plastic and are covered with the fabric that covers the rear floor. There is no mechanism to latch them in place. They are just free floating and move out of the way when the seat backs fold up.

I will see if i can get a picture of it later during lunch so that you can see what i mean.

@schatzy -- I, too, would appreciate the pics, if you can post them. No rush. Thanks.
