Just a heads up, if you read the back of the package the ZUG sticker comes in it "may" damage your paint...

I bought and cut some magnet to fit and stuck the badge to it. Now I can put it on and remove it at will. I don't have a close up shot, but you can see it below and/or click on the link to see it larger.

I'll take a picture of mine and post it later today.

i did the same. Bought some magnet self adhesive from hobby lobby. doubled up on the thickness as i was worried about the strength of 1 sheet and the wind. 2 sheets are much stronger. Stuck the Zig Zag Zug stickers to the magnets and cut out around it. Sure do get some laughs in the rear view mirror!

Great idea on the magnet material. We were afraid to put the Zug (2 halves) emblem on the doors for fear of wanting to take them off later. Will go by Hobby Lobby on the way home. Thanks!

According to the book of ZUG - it is defined as:
[zUHg] adjective, verb, noun
1. To be unlike others
2. To do something different
3. A place in Switzerland
So you could say mattmed is being ZUG by putting Zig and Zag badges on his Clubman unlike the rest of us

I wonder what "Z" name they will give the Crossman or Traveler, whatever they are calling the 2010/2011 mini SUV? I really like that white green combo on the concept!

they might use "ZYG" too - sometimes

or, if they want to go with the cross_ theme - "XIG" or "ZIX"

I've got mine (ZUG) in the mail as part of free MINI welcome kit several weeks after the purchase.

I bought my Clubbie on January 12 and received the kit of goodies on February 21.

Good tip on the magnet stuff -- I love stickers but I HATE putting stickers on my cars!

In my motoring kit, I found this awesome Zug sticker. It's odd because it's split in the center. I realized it goes in the center of the barn doors. I didn't want to stick it on bare paint and saw this:
"The sticker is sticky. And if at some point in the future you decide to take it off (which,by the way, wouldn't make any sense because the Boot Badge is an amazing, one-of-a-kind item), it may affect the paint."

I'll have to hit the local Hobby Lobby for some magnetic sticky sheets but they're all going bankrupt for some reason! Even two of the local Michaels stores have gone ***s up (as the Brits say) and there aren't any around for at least an hour's drive.

ZUG sticker is so pedestrian.....

I got my Motoring Kit. Saw the ZUG sticker and decided that, even though it is a good advertising gimmick, putting it on my boot would be just too common. I got a boot badge holder and put on a "Life is Good" refrigerator magnet and "Hummer Escape Pod" badge. The "Escape Pod" magnet gets a lot of positive comments. My NAN badge is on/off depending on my mood and cleanliness of the boot. (Mostly it is off, as the boot is impossible to keep clean)
