Aren't you going to miss the driver's side sun-flap? What do Countryman owners do with a low sun on the driver's side? I can't imagine!

106,000 and counting.
Replaced tensioner under warranty at 35k and then tensioner, chain and some guides at 99k under warranty(extended).
Been a great and fun car so far.
Ipod interface just started acting up...pissing me off. Love my ipod tunes.
Happy Motoring!

In a few days my girl will be rollin' up on 74k. Celebrated her 3rd birthday on June 21st!

Got her first set of new front brake pads at 70k. (EBC Redstuff) Other than that, we are status quo.

Just over 35,000 miles now but my mileage is only in the mid to high 20's. The autobahn is to blame!

They're working GREAT! I no longer have to worry as much when someone pulls out in front of me doing 65 when I'm doing nearly twice that! I just sold my Wilwoods as well. Now if I could just sell my Ronal 18's.

I forgot to mention that my hood scoop is also deforming due to engine heat/elements, but in Germany they say "that happens" and tell you to pound sand. I pulled it and installed an M7 scoop.

That sucks about your scoop. Some dealerships do that stateside but most honor a replacement for newer models. I run the m7 Vortex on my car I like the look. Plus it grabs a bunch of air for my DDM ram air setup ;D

61k km and been at the Dealer in the last 6 months more then any other car I've owned for issues under the hood........... even my BMW X5. Everything has been checked/swapped right up to both fuel pumps, etc, etc. Next step is their taking it to have the head pulled apart and cleaned thinking it's possibly due to carbon fouling. Last week, thermostat failure. I've had the death chain rattle issue........... I think I've had almost every issue posted on NAM that's under the hood. It's all been motor related. What's next........ clutch failure?!?!?! The car is awesome, but this has to be the biggest piece of garbage motor I've ever owned in a car. I'd rather have my spare E30 M3 S14 motor dropped in the Mini engine bay then this lump of crap. HELLO MINI....... put a real BMW engine in this car please........... you idiots.

Around 15,500 so far. I have never put mileage on a car so fast! Had to have rotors replaced early on :confused, and had her second scheduled oil change. No other issues, enjoying the hell out of this car

As my Mini was an Executive car she already had 3500 on her upon adoption.

Just yesterday, a man walking by in a parking lot said, "Beautiful!"

Passed 43,000 miles last night on my 2010 Clubman S.

My sunroof loses its seal above 120mph. Seems as though the airflow over the car is pulling it open. H&R springs and 18's may be the culprit as bumps on the autobahn are pretty jarring over 100.

36,000 miles. Had a few of the early Clubman problems: Sticky suicide door, window dipper etc. The strangest problem that can easily be avoided but caused a ton of problems was not using the two different key fobs on a regular basis. We didn't use one for about 2-3 months. Then when we used it again, all hell broke lose. The barn doors would open by themselves, the radio reset itself, the windows rolled up and down on their own, and a bunch of other strange things. The thought the car was posessed. But after about two days, everything settled down and returned to normal. Now we constantly change the fob we are using to prevent another occurrance. Apparently the problem is the fob has to download a bunch of new engine and performance data and it gets overwhelmed, causing things to crash.

Just passed 76000 miles. I bought it in Jan 2011 with 24000 miles

So far new tires, a few oil changes and new brakes/rotors yesterday.
The hood scoop is deforming a bit but I will likely be trading for a countryman next month.

Runs great.

Early delivery 2008S/auto, 30K miles. Dead keyfob, melted hood scoop, both threshhold chrome plates replaced, 1 headlight rim peeling, connector for turbo coolant pump melted and burned, windshield seriously pitted/no freeway driving, thermostat housing began leaking, all pads at 17K, original 16" runflats declared dead at 17K...ran them to 30K when I replace them with regular tires...huge improvement in noise and harshness, CEL on at 30K...carbon on intake valves removed with walnut shells..mileage went up from 23 to 29, looks like it's starting to use oil. Bob Smith Mini being excellent. Life is good.

I like this car but compared to everything I've ever owned that wasn't made in the '70s in Europe it seems fragile and short-lived at the expense of performance/fashion today. My kids are still driving late-90's turbo Volvos with over 200K miles. I'm having a hard time seeing this engine/trans getting that far without replacement.

Please see my post on Ford extended warranty and reply if possible.

I'm about to hit 29K. Problems I've had are breaking clips for interior panels, timing chain and tensioner twice, and now it's starting to make some strange noises from under the bonnet. There also seems to be a lot more road noise, but that could be due to my tires (18,xxx miles on them).

Update: 42 k miles, 3.5 years, and barely any problem that wasn't quickly addressed by Mini. No rattles, almost a new MINI. I'm glad, since it has to last me for about ten more years.

20xxx miles since July of '09. Only problem so far was the noisy engine when cold, which was thankfully fixed by replacing the cam chain tensioner. I had the problem since day one but it got significantly worse by around 10K miles. Goodyear tires are more than half worn which I'll replace with Continentals A/S next year sometime.

about 280. LOL!
Glad to read the post a few up about the key fobs. I probably would have just tossed the "extra" one in a drawer and maybe used it a handful of times a year.

I'm at about 45,000 miles now and am hitting 2 years this week. That means the end of the unlimited mileage factory warranty here in Germany. I can extend it for another 12 months for 205 Euros (about $276) so I'll be doing that tomorrow. It'll still be unlimited mileage too! Only downside is there is a 50 Euro co-pay with repairs. The warranty is tranferrable though.
