R55 Does it bother you that the dual panel sunroof lacks a solid sun shade?

Hear noise from the fan blowing? That's impossible with the runflats...we just got back from a 1200 mile trip to the Rocky Mountains and back and they are TERRIBLE. 33 mpg btw! But to the point, the car needs a solid shade for sure, probably the biggest design mistake they made.

My Prelude has a solid cover that can slide forward blocking the sunroof. I have used it but not that much, mainly because the Prelude has a decent tint on the sunroof.

By the way, I installed the 5% tint film bought at a local auto store for about $16. There was enough matl to do both sunroofs and it came out great. It does cut down on the heat build-up a bit in the MINI. I have not tinted any of the other glass in the MINI and right now have no plans to do so.
