hey guys, operating and navigating the thumbdrive is a breeze. the files are listed exactly how i save them and i can scroll through to the one i want with ease. you can save files as individual albums or as artists. if a file contains a bunch of sub files, they open and can be navigated as well. keep in mind i have the built in navigation.

so besides the price, the size, the wirelessness, and the ease of changing content, i have noticed an extra bonus of thumbdrive use. if i leave the drive inserted with the car off, the drive itself flashes red and looks just like an alarm. granted, i also have the MINI OEM alarm which flashes, but you cant really have too much theft deterrant.

side note - from what i read, if you dont have NAV, your gonna want to keep the drive size at 8GB or less to keep searching simple. even with the nav, i still stick to an 8GB and keep two loaded in the car and switch the contents often (100GB of tunes on my PC)

Merry Motoring!

Nice car!
I have the same color combo

I use a thumbdrive as well, much easier than an ipod/iphone, you don't have to mess with the wires and you can't notice it as much when you do leave it in the car.

I used an Audi TT antenna for a short antenna. It has the same thread as our antenna's. Picked it up at the Audi dealer. This was several years ago and used it on my Z3 Coupe, so I can't remember the exact price anymore, but I think it was around $25.

The manual says 38psi all around for Clubman S and JCW. Only 41/44 is needed when driving with 4 people + luggage for the Clubman S and 39/45 for the JCW.
I'm guessing the difference between the non S and S in tire pressure is because of the weight difference.

The sunroof decal is from mini motoring graphics. It seems to still let plenty of light in while removing the glare.

Thanks for posting. I actually saw the 38 in the owner's manual the day after picking it up. I think my MA mistakingly stated the 41 b/c he was pointing to the yellow sticker with 41/44 instead of the door jamb label with 38.
