Can I find a small speedometer to mount to the left of the RPM dial?

The insanely large speedometer in the middle of the Mini is as silly as silly gets (in my opinion), and is too big/not in a good location for fast glances of speed when carving up the roads. Unfortunately the computer doesn't allow me to fully customize the LED display on the RPM dial (i.e. have the MPH displayed and then have options as to what to display underneath instead of only the outside temperature -- you know, the option to display useful things ) so I'm looking for a speedometer close to the size of the RPM guage that I can mount to the left of the RPM dial.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Cheers,
Noah

Noah, here is one route you can go and add whichever gauges based on your preference:

Another alternative and cheaper route would be purchasing a Scan Gauge II

Thanks much, guys - those are both cool products.

I was hoping I could find a gauge that's closer to the size of the RPM gauge...the 60mm ones on that dual gauge pod are unfortunately too small for a good speedometer.

The 1st gen Mini had both RPM and speedometer gauges above the steering wheel if you got the Nav option, but they don't offer that for the 2nd gen. Too bad.

The ScanGauge is really cool but I want to go for the classic analog speedometer look.

Headlands,

Would you be willing to get a GPS driven speedometer? If so, there are many on the market that will meet your size requirement. Do a google search. It would be interesting to know how the two readings actually compared - there's probably pros and cons to both. I wonder if this has been discussed on this forum.
