R55 winter wiper blades

winter wiper blades
After a couple of days driving in "wintery mix" (the local euphemism for half-frozen crap falling from the sky I'm in the market for winter blades. I bought the Anco Contour blades, but the idiot things don't touch the windshield at the top and bottom 2-3 inches, wiping only the middle band. (The auto parts store won't take these turkeys back because they are "used" )
Any suggestions on a winter blade that will work well on my Clubbie?
Thanks!

They sell these at Costco. They're about US$8.00 each. I put a set on my new Clubman and I really like 'em.
Based on observation, the Goodyear Assurance, the Bosch Icon, Michelin Symphony, and the RainX Latitude, etc are all re-badged versions of the same "bracket-less" blade.

The clubman version ...
I gave up on the rubber encased "winter" blades years ago , WAY too stiff
I've been running the Latitudes for years... I got lucky at the fleamarket they had them for $10 a pair. I bought a case of them ...
I'd highly recomend the Aquapel treatmnt too

I'm sad to report that the PIAA "Forza Hybrid" winter blades also fail to clean the windscreen. Worse than their less expensive counterparts, the PIAA blades leave a swath in the center of the blade untouched for about half the stroke and then streak the rest of the way across. You wouldn't think it would be so hard to make a wiper blade that actually remains in contact with the window.
