Replacing the Clubman Horn or Horns
I got tired of the "American Clunker" horn sound and relpaced mine today while looking for rims at the junk yard.
Got 2 Button horns. One from a Toyota Tercel and the other from a Mercedes, I kept both wiring connectors, total cost $9.00!
Its easy to do. Just jacked up the passenger side and removed the wheel. Access is through the round cover plate, turn it counter clockwise. Then just remove 3 phillips plastic tabs and pull back the plastic cover to gain access to both horns.
I spliced the horns into the Mini wires with crimp "Solderless" connectors and weatherproof taped em both up. They both bolted on like they were original equipment and WOW what a difference!
Total time.... 35 minutes.
