Few pics of my ride...

I finally got around to snapping a few pics of my MCCS..Didn't want to go bananas, as I do have a new set of wheels to put on her that will get the better photo-op treatment...

I washed her yesterday, so there she's a little (brake)dusty... What do you think?

Shoof,

Great selection of photos! Thanks for taking photos of both the interior and exterior - most people only show the exterior of their mini. One question for you (and others if they want to comment): What product do you use to clean the black "plastic" trim beneath the doors and around the wheel wells?

Thanks...

Nice looking car.

But you need a Duck for that antenna.

Check out NEMINI.org for some great drive and get togethers.

New shooz!

Better?

I put 100 miles on her, and I already have a coating of brake dust....cleaning these wheels should be fun..

Oh, and one other thing...My car's stock wheels are the A/S ContiProContacts, while these are Summer Dunlops...Is it just me, but do the Dunlops give you a softer ride compared to the Contriprocontacts? It sure feels that way...Am I crazy?

It looks great! Making me more excited about mine---I just got the VIN and the status changed from "on order" to "scheduled for production" !!

Did you keep the same tires and just change the wheels or go with diff tires as well? If you did get new tires, what size did you go with ?

I bought the wheels together with the tires, so I simply took my original wheels off and put these wheels on with the tires already on them. Difference is, my original wheels have all season tires, and the new wheels have summer tires, so it's a 3 season tire for me.

What were those original 5-spoke wheels? They look like quasi-TorqueThrusts.

Those are the stock "Pace" 17" wheels that are an option with the Sport Package.

Very nice....... a lot of what you have done I want to do to my Clubbie this summer.

I have a black S and had the same stock wheels......... switched to 18" gloss black JCW OEM wheels............... didn't like the gloss black so I sold them. So I'm back to the original 17" wheels.

Very nice though............ now I'm 100% sold on the NM spring for sure.

I can't say that I drove of was driven in a car that had other springs to compare it to. Most people say that the progressive aftermarket lowering springs like the NM's would give you a better ride than the stock linear springs. Granted I drive up and down a certain highway in NY that I spend half the time dodging potholes, but I don't find the ride of the NM's to be any better than stock. They are a pinch more stiff, and the drop in height adds to the better appearance, but overall I wouldn't say the ride is worse than stock. I am also riding on stock shocks as well.

One thing I did notice, was the fact that I'm now on summer rubber (Dunlops) with these new wheels, I find the ride to be better than the all season rubber (ContiProContact) that my car came with. I find the summer tires are a little more forgiving, absorbs the bumps a little better and has a softer ride. Both are still run-flats too...Am I crazy or is that really the case?

Don't know how much different it would be w/o the spoiler, but the back does get a bit dusty regardless..
