Clubman secrets?
This is probably spelled out in BIG BOLD WORDS in the manual but I missed it!
About an hour ago I went out to my Clubman to get some of my papers I was going to work on this evening. I grabbed the key fob and got my papers but when I tried to lock the doors they would click down and then immediately pop up. I tried about four times with the same result. Sheesh, now what? My first thought was that the fob battery was going out so I went back to the house for the spare. Hey, the "extra" fob was nowhere to be found. Hmmmm... could it be in the ignition? Yep!
So I just learned that the door can't be locked with a key in the ignition! Pretty clever!! Too bad the engineer that designed that feature could have also designed the light in the "boot"!
Are there any other surprises I should know about?

Wow, I didn't know that one! I tried it and sure enough it works. Okay, logic tells me that if I hold my "lock" button on the fob down for a few seconds it would close the window and close the sunroof - right? Wrong! Anyway, I took the key out of the fob and turned it clockwise and it locked the doors, closed the windows, and closed the sunroof.
Thanks Dave!

HUH, when I unlock and then hold the unlock button down for 4 seconds only the windows go down, the sunroof is unaffected.
Additionally, I think that another unique feature (just my observation - real or imagined), is that when the sunroof is open the AC will only blow on your legs and not out of the upper vents...at least I have that happen to me..

Agree. Gotta hold the fob button down until after the windows go down all the way in order to get the sunroof to vent. If you let go of the button or inadvertently ease up on it, it will interrupt the process.
