Mini Cooper Clubman s Mirror caps

Hello,

I will also introduce my self in this post. I had an 06 Blue mini cooper s and it was my baby, exhaust pulley and intake among some other things and unfortunately at the beginning of the year a series of unfortunate circumstances happened and had to get rid of her =(. I purchased a GMC truck and had nothing but problems from day one. I have just completed the lemon law process and GM settled!

Last Monday I ordered "Alysa" shes a 6speed manual 2011 Black Clubman s decked out with cold weather, sport, premium and convenience packages with the black headlamp package. I currently have infinite steam rim's ordered and am planning to powdercoat them gloss black before I take delivery.

Last year when I was in the dealer getting my 06 worked on the dealership had a rally edition clubman with the lime green mirror caps. I never liked the clubmans and thought they were a disgrace to mini's name until I saw the rally edition and instantly fell inlove with it! I now LOVE seeing clubmans on the road and time has honestly slowed down waiting to take deliver of Alyssa =)

Basically my question is, Does anyone have the paint code for the limegreen mirror caps? I am also planning on doing my brake calibers the same color. I went to my automotive paint supplier today and I just cannot replicate the color (maybe im not remembering it right) but they let me take the book and i took it to mini and matched it up with a black clubman and the color just doesnt seem "right"

Thanks! i look foward to posting here, i also poked around here when i had my old one just never really needed to sign up.

Welcome back to the asylum for miniacs. The Clubmans have grown on me too. If I was in the market for a new MINI today, that's what I would buy too. Sorry I can help you with that obscure green code.

There's an auction on ebay right now for the lime green mirror caps from the Rallye edition. Price isn't too bad if you offset it by selling your black ones when your clubbie arrives.

Search for: Rallye OEM clubman

Currently, there is no paint code as they are colored molded plastic.
However, a respectable paint shop should be able to colormatch to an over-the-counter color that's readily available.

I do not have the paint code, but the part numbers

left mirror cap- 51162157405
right mirror cap- 51162157406

I looked into repainting my mirrors and found it cheaper to replace rather than repaint.

Awesome, thank you guys!

i actually just ordered them from the mini dealership, they are the exact color that I want. if I didn't find the code I would have used the Lamborghini Lime green paint code.

Ill post a picture once I get my car!

Just installed the set my dealer ordered for me, and they look great on a BRG2 car! BTW, the numbers quoted above are for the Non-Powerfold mirrors. The green caps are available for the power folding mirrors too:

Left: 51-16-2-162-747

I don't know the answer to your question, but congrats on the new Mini! The Clubmans have grown on me too. When they first came out I turned my nose up at them, thought they just weren't what made a Mini a Mini. But then we got our first Cooper in September and I started noticing them at club meets. In October we spent a some time behind one during MINIs Slay the Sleeping Dragon, and I started to love them a little. By the end of that meet I was sold. Just got my Clubman last week, now we are a two Mini family I know you are going to love her!

They do not make them any more there is no paint code. The color was called puma green. You might be able to find second hand. I found my set on eBay used in new condition.

I pulled the caps off, and fitted some foam weather strip tape at the contact points
