All seasons are mediocre tire in all areas. They do nothing well, but do everything at a 'meh' level. This is why your handling feels "off"

the DW is a superb summer tire that would be well suited for the mild temperament of socal driving.

Next time you need new tires DON'T BUY ALL SEASONS!!!

I just put a set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110s on Monty and really like 'em. They are VERY quiet and have tenacious grip. Read my write-up here:

Scroll down to the bottom for the Hankook eval. Short story: these are awesome tires for very little money. They are $40 less per tire than the same size Conti DWs - yowza!
