My 18" R113 have a few bends in the lip, when I paid 3000 for a wheel package I didn't expect them to bend so easy.

Sorry for your bad luck. Any low profile tire especilly RF will be a jolting ride and will have less tire area to protect the rim. I had 16's and went with 205/55 vs. 195'55 RF. It mad a huge difference and many have said going non RF was the best mod they have made. It was for me too.
The large rims with the low profile looks cool, but wasn't as functional for me.

YMMV

in my opinion stock rims are made of butter lol. I bent one last winter, and sold the rest of them. Even cheaper aftermarket wheels seem stronger and are lighter

Made to bend and not break apart.

The OEM wheels are made to bend and not come apart when you do hit a pothole or very hard object.

It goes all the way back to when the auto makers stopped using steel wheels and started using other material like aluminum.

It is a safety issue that is not enforced very well on a lot of wheels made in foreign country's not used as OEM.
