R55 stripes for BLK w/SILVER?
#2
Silver sport stripe on bonnet and boot along with black sport stripe on roof. Also add checkered mirror caps and black wheels. That should look hot.

Are you going with the dealer options or finding something aftermarket?
How are you feeling about red?
What about carbon fiber? That might look great.
Another option is to go with matte black stripes, which will look 'ghostly' on the black paint, but then pop on the roof. And if you wanted to 'set them off' on the black paint, you could add a dark silver pinstripe.
In fact, dark silver stripes might work as well.

After market would work fine. I've already had the car for 7-8 mos. I thought about matte black; a possibility. Red is an idea, I just don't know how a 3rd color would work; maybe (?). Carbon Fibre is an idea to ponder. If I got silver, the color would have to be a very good match for the paint. Is that available?
Good ideas, feel free to keep em coming!

Just picked up a brand new '10 JCW Clubman in Midnight Black.
Looking to stripe it up also.
This is what I'm trying to decide between so far:
Blue is my color, and I usually (always) get blue cars. But the one I'd ordered was being delayed way too long, so I went with the JCW they had on the lot, and got a great deal. Now I'm really glad I got the JCW instead of just the S, but the black needs some flair to keep it from looking like a hearse. Now I can't decide whether I should go with the red, keeping with the JCW logo, or go with my blue. I think they red looks a little meaner. But the JCW logos aren't that big on the wheels or grille. Any opinions?
I may choose to go with the viper stripes down the center and back like the show car, instead of the wide bonnet stripes.
Also wondering how the checkered sunroof decal would look.
I'm going to tint the windows too.

As a JCW Clubman owner my vote is for the stripes with the red. I have dark silver, and have been accenting it with red to pick up the logos on the front and back, and the brake calipers. I got rid of the Challenge wheels and have a set of 5-spoke Focals that really show off the brakes. Plus who doesn't love a mean looking Clubbie?!

Checker board roof on black car
I ordered and am currently waiting for install a matte black with cuts outs for the black roof to show through. Below is a car that I saw that has this set up. I will probably go with the 2 black stripes on the front and the single stripe in the rear, ie I have a clubman
