Here's something to make you think...

Okay, well i've been looking and shopping for best deals on the JCW body kit for my r56. (I know this is the clubbie forum) but as long as I'm spending the money to pic up new body trip, why not be original?

so think about this. could you get a normal jcw mini r56 package and swap out the bumper for a mini clubman?? Then buy a cat back exhaust, cut off the extra foot and then run dual split tips on an r56?

would the body kit of a club fit an r56 excluding exhaust.

thoughts?

I think the rear bumper of the Clubman is "deeper" (protrudes further behind the rear wheels), but I could bee mistaken.

If you go this route, let me know as I would be very interested in the side skirts since they would definitely not fit your car - they are much longer.

Greg is right it is a different size.

But there is a place in Germany that makes a dual exhuast (clubbie Style) for a hatchback. Probably less cost to that than having one reworked form a clubman to fit the hatchback.

I am not able to find it right now but i will keep looking

The company i am thinking of it is Bastuck at http://www.bastuck.de/

but i no longer see anything on their site for MINI but it may be listed under BMW and unfortunately i do not seem to be able to view their site properly.

AC Schnitzer also used to make a dual out exhaust for the gen 1 not sure if they do one for the gen 2.

Here is a thread where someone did a photoshop of the rear of his car with the dual exhaust.

There is also at least 3-4 other threads in the Coop Talk forum on this exact same subject

Check out this link, this is dual exhaust for a JUSTA from Remus. Might work on the S?

You need to scroll down to the MINI section.
