I have my car in for service this week and have a 2011 Clubman S.

Noticed that there are MORE color choices if you push the toggle forward.

If you pull the toggle back, you can dim and increase the light.

Can't do that on earlier models.

Anyone else notice this?

 

Right after they gave me a 2011 as a loaner the first time last year. If you push it I think for more than 10 seconds the lights will flash in acknowledgment and the colors will continuously scan.

 

Im surprised your MA didn't tell you that sooner, ours told us before we put in our order, I was totally impressed!

 

I activated my mood lighting on my 2011 MCS to the continuous change mode, now i can't figure out how to get it back to a single color. Does anyone know how to put it back? Manual doesn't say...

just push the lever forward and it should stop changing colors (i don't think you have to hold it for 10 seconds again, but you might).

 

WOW! Thanks lonestarbuzz! That worked. Personally, I liked the orange lighting cascading lights to match the spedo/tach lighting.

And I'd been trying to figure that out for two weeks and all I had to do was ask.
