clubman s turbo line leakage/smoke.

tiny leak in the turbo oil line @ the housing. dealer quoted me $1500 to replace!!!!

car has 60k on it. WTF.

claims they need to take the turbo off. $380 parts +$1100 in labor.

never had any issues like this on our first mini this will be out last.

after the horrible stereo upgrade pricing/quality issues/rattles.
new front brakes @ 12,000 miles.
and we are not fast drivers in stop and go traffic.

i may sound like i am a complainer but after spending 32k on a mini. i expected more.

Feed line or oil return line?

Sounds like material failure or vibration / rubbing caused the issue.

So, one repair sets you off the edge...?

Agree with darth...find a third party who will give you a better labor rate. Do you deal with Grand Rapids or Detroit? If the latter, I'll bet nearby Chad at Detroit Tuned would be a better value.

Not your current problem but FWIW, one of the recent WRR episodes mentioned the fact that they've seen lots of instances of 2nd Gen brake wear sensors going off erroneously, before the pads are really in need of replacement. Sometimes as early as 7K miles on the clock. Maybe that happened to you at 12K.

Seems like, overall, you've enjoyed 60K of relatively trouble free motoring. Some folks would gladly trade for your experience.
