There's several to choose from:
* NM Engineering
* Mangaflow
* Milltek
* Quicksilver
* Alta Performance
Since NM Engineering is in California, I'd start with them first.
Passing CARB is pretty simple, if you pay attention to the details outlined by the DMV.
The best one is Remus. I heard it on a R55 at the Dragon. Ordered as soon as I got back.
Pricey but perfect sound, nice idle, aggressive wot and NO resonance at any RPM.
Really cool chrome tips too.
IMO
Wanna install a cat back exhaust for my 2011 Clubman S. Many good comments on Borla and the price is good. Any other suggestions?
By the way, I live in California. There is CARB regulation. Can the cat back exhaust pass smog check?
I have the Milltek cat back system. It's really a downpipe back system in that there is no cutting required. It uses the stock band clamp to attach to the stock Downpipe/Cat. Unlike several other "Cat Back" systems you can get several aftermarket Downpipes to use with this system. The main pipe is 2.5" to the "Y pipe" then 2" on each side with the best looking tips I've seen. Look at it here:http://www.waymotorworks.com/milltek...man-s-r55.html
Beautiful build quality and excellent sound and manufactured in the UK, the MINI's homeland.
