Looks great Bandit,

Unlike most other cars the roof rails don't take anything away from it's looks.
Mine's on the docks awaiting shipment, can't wait!

Surprised they didn't continue the orange theme on the inside (seat and dash trim) or did they and I missed it?!?!!

No, they didn't continue the orange on the inside.
Orange trim would have looked awesome on the hot chocolate lounge leather. But what the hell, the dash lights are orange and the mood/waterfall lights can be orange as well.

My Clubman has reached the Port of Baltimore. Some options will be installed there and it will soon continue on to Classic Mini! Really, this is moving faster than I expected it to. I must have put my order in at just the right time.

I'm waiting for my spice orange S Clubman to arrive in the states. I got the status update that he's adjusting to his sea wheels. I went with the silver roof and bonnet stripes and I guess the dealer will add the blackjack to my sunroof when the car arrives. I feel like a kid waiting for Santa.

ororo,
Congratulations on your new sleigh! I know what you mean about Santa. Mine touched down on American soil in Baltimore yesterday.. They will be installing my JCW options at the VDC near the port before it goes to the dealer for the finishing touches. The time between ordering and now went reletively quick compaired to what the wait will feel like knowing it's actually here but not yet in Ohio.

I'm in central Illinois. I ordered my Mini on April 14th. I chose the hot chocolate lounge leather with hot chocolate door panels and the English oak dash, sunroof, cold weather package, sport package, Harman Kardon. I wanted a white top and mirrors but I couldn't get that so I went with silver. Should look great with the blackjack on the sunroof. My Mini rep says my car will be at the dealership the week of the 21st. I'm hoping to drive up to Naperville (Chicago area) to get the car on the 26th.

When you see your VIN show up in the MINI Owners Lounge tracking or get it from your MA, you can follow this link and put the VIN in the far right box to do a search. This will tell you what ship it's going to be on, it's departure date and tentative arrival date here in the states. You can also hit the world map tab and track it on it's way here. There will be a couple days of it being a ghost as it moves through areas to far from shore to be tracked. Have fun with it. I was watching the TEXAS from the time Pumpkinhead was loaded untill it arrived in Baltimore.

Thank you! I had heard there was a way to track the ship but didn't know how. My car will arrive in Baltimore in 4 days.

I had to thank SpicyMaguro for updating an older post on tracking, it took awhile to locate but was exactly what I was hoping to find. Glad it helped you out here. Your R55 sounds like a nice build. Is it going to be a Justa or an S ?

Lol, Justa, I like that. Mine is an S. I didn't get any sweet JCW options. One silly little thing I opted for was white turn signal indicators. I have no idea why I thought I needed those. I do like how it looks with the silver bonnet stripes.

You must be bouncing off the walls waiting for your car to reach the dealer!!

I'm bouncing off the walls alright. I've been driving my 2001 Jeep Wrangler (manual) for the past 11 years, 6 of those with a bad clutch leg. In getting this I thought I would try to go all out and still have the automatic. At least it has the somewhat manual option.
On the topic of the white turn signal indicators, they just plain look better.

Which is, of course, why they are optional

Estimated delivery date in the Owners Lounge is........drum roll please.......5/21/12
That would be a good delivery date, RUSH 2112.
I would be willing to take it earlier if I had to.

Picked up my Spice Orange 2012 Clubman S with Silver Top this past Saturday (5/12/12). Ordered him on 3/31/12, so exactly 6 weeks.
Named him SriRacha after the Thai hot sauce with the same color
Please look at more pics in my gallery.

Looks good SpiceOrangeClubS12, it makes me want one.
On the Thai hot sauce, I've never had that, I'll have to give it a try. It must be good to name your Clubby after it.

Thanks PMKNHD
He was originally going to be a Laguna Green also, but what the heck!!!
I'm happy at how he looks now.

When is yours scheduled to arrive?

(The boat that carried SriRacha stopped at the Baltimore port and reached the Brunswick port 3 days later. Then it took another 8 days to arrive at the MINI dealer in Houston, TX.)

I'm crossing my fingers that it will be about a week.
It's very hard to tell for sure, the owners lounge is usually updating behind the fact so it could be sooner than later. I placed my order on April 11th so I won't complain either way. All it has to do is make the trek to the dealer now. Going from Baltimore to Ohio is no long trip so it shouldn't be long now.

Hey PMKNHD, what did your salesperson say?
They usually have a more accurate estimated date than the MINIUSA website.
My Estimated Delivery Date on the website also bounced back and forth twice but the sales guy was definitely more accurate.
Totally understand your feeling though

Just kill time by shopping for the accessories.
I bought the shorty antenna, key chain, mouse pads while waiting
Looked online, picked up at the dealer.
