Hello everyone I'm new to the forum. I just ordered a Clubman in Spice Orange with a Black top. I know that the Clubman has just been released in Spice Orange, but I was hoping that someone could post a photo of one for me. Now I have to suffer the long wait until it is delivered. Thanks.

 

Seattle MINI just did a vinyl wrap of a hatch in matte orange. Looked pretty cool to me, although they overdid the orange accents on the wheels.

 

I just picked up my Spice Orange Clubman S on 4/3. I ordered it back in January. It will be worth the wait

Stiggie, it looks great. Mine reportedly has been produced and waiting shipment. I hope to have mine by early May. It sounds like it took you 8 weeks to get yours. If that is the case then mine may not come until the middle of May.

 

Bandit, I had to wait a few weeks longer since they officially didn't start production of the clubman in spice orange until March. If yours is built and waiting to be shipped it should only be a few more weeks.

 

I know that the Clubman was just recently issued in that color. How did you end up ordering it in that color before it was officially available?

 

The dealer had received a memo in January from MINI that they could put orders for the spice orange in the cue.

I would have to say that I'm the newest member in the Spice Orange Almost Owners Club.
On Monday I will be placing an order for Pumpkinhead, a 2012 Spice Orange and double black S Clubman.

 

Pumpkinhead is a beauty! Congratulations!

 

Wow THAT looks so damn good. Everything was chosen so nicely. The only thing I don't I could keep on there are the wheels, besides that it looks literally perfect. Black 112s would solve that problem

Although it's true that the black 112's would look great the extra $2,642 isn't worth it to me right now.
In the future I may make a change to have sport and winter tires, at which point I may consider the black challenge spoke or these:

At least on my monitor Stiggie's looks more like Cinnamon than Orange (both look great by the way). I realize the UK version is off the configurator so maybe a bit of shift there? Is the actual UK color like Stiggie or the configurator?

 

From all I can tell in pictures and what I saw at the dealer, the color should be the same as in the UK configurator. It all depends on how the light hits it and what it's parked next to can make a difference.

 

The order for Pumpkinhead was officially signed on Wednesday. Now he's in the stack of orders waiting to be scheduled for production. This is going to be a long wait!

 

I ordered mine on 3/31. My Spice Orange S Clubman with Silver Roof was "born" on 4/14.
But as today, 4/23, the status still shows "Awaiting Transport".
It already has been a long enough wait.

 

I received a call from the dealer today. I ordered the Spice Orange Clubman (Justa) with a black roof on March 17th. The dealer told me that the car just arrived. However, I am going to wait for delivery until I get the $750 incentive from the Test Drive Take Down on May 15th. Ouch, now I am voluntarily waiting for three weeks until I get my car. Oh, well that $750 will cover the cost of the HK stereo that I ordered.

 

Man, I feel for you. Waiting all this time and having to wait again, that sucks. One might think they would just give it to you.
The test drive event in Willoughby Ohio is on April 26th and has already been figured in for me.
I would be talking to the sales manager on that one. It can't hurt. What's $750 to them considering what were paying for these go-carts.

 

The dealer called today and stated that they want me to take possession of the Clubman before the end of the month. They will take another $750 off the price, in lieu of the Test Drive Take Down incentive. So I will be picking up the Clubman on Saturday. Hooray!

 

Wow that UK version JCW in that color looks ****! Too bad the configurator doesn't show the red brembos behind the wheels.

The red brembos would set it off, you know, a little red with the spice orange would be just like autumn.
The only problem there is the fact that mine will not have them. Pumpkinhead is an S Clubman with the addition of the aero kit, tuning kit and the JCW spoiler. Using the UK configurator you can't get all things like 5 star bullets with the aero kit, or the racing stripes on a Clubman.

It's sad to say that the US doesn't offer the sun protection glass either so that will wait till later. All of the pictures I had to make in photoshop they are from parts of the JCW, S Clubman and the stripes I borrowed from the roadster.

 

I never really liked clubmans till now, it looks really good in spice orange, wow.

 

I have to say that I was lucky by fate. It was originally going to be laguna green and that was discontinued, I was prepared to order it in laser blue and that was also discontinued. I was pissed to say the least, then I heard spice orange was going to be added to the clubman color line and oh yes it was time to buy.

PS. It exited the paint line today, so far so good!!!
