Clubman Picture with 215/45-17 tires

I'm coming up on 25,000 miles on my Clubman and looking at replacing my runflats tires. Planning on going with non-runflat Continential DWS and upsizing to 215/45-17's. Does anyone have any pictures of their Clubman with this size tire installed?

215/45/17 tires on 17x7 wheels.

(And before any Einsteins chime in about R113's being 18 inch wheels, theses are the 17 inch replicas).

They look very nice on your clubman especially with that color. Where can we get those replicas?

They both look really good. Is there any regrets with upsizing to the 215/45-17 rather than staying with the stock 205/45-17 size?

none for me. If you plan to lower it alot a 215x45 might be to big. I less than 2" of wheel gap but plan on fixing that soon.

205/50 /17

I just put 205/50/17 on my clubman. I wanted a little more sidewall hoping it would make it ride smoother. Had them on for 1 day , no issues yet and they ride pretty good.

I have had both the Conti DWS tires and the Kuhmo 215/45/17's on various MINI's. IMHO the ride is much better than stock. Never had any issues with either.

Got the R113 replicas from ebay.

With the 2-4MPH error in the MINI Speedo to begin with it should cancel most of it out. But there is the possibility that it will still make you car slightly faster than what the speed states. The average change from a 205/45-17 to a 205/50-17 is 2 mph faster for the car at the same speedo reading.

215/45-17 Lowered on NM springs about 1.2"

This is about a year old. The Michelins occasionally scraped. Switched to Goodyear at the same size and I scrape a lot more!

My snow tires are 225/45/17 and they only rub at full lock (left or right).

Clubman with 205-50-17 vs 205-45-17

Just put 205-50-17 on my Mini. No problems and I have a much better ride especially compare to the original 205/45-17 run flats. I went to 50 series in hopes it would improve the ride.

Speedometer reads about 2 miles faster than what my GPS reads. I will be checking the gas mileage as I go to see how it effected MPG.

Thank you t0 Big Jim Swade for starting this thread. I think I will have to with 215-45-17 and would like to see the rear view if the tires do not stick out too far.

The reason I wanted to upsize is to partially correct the speedometer error an also have a little wider tires to protect the side of the rim when my GF parallell parks!

Not a rear view, but you can see how much they stick out - are you running stock wheels?
