'08 Clubman headlight issue

Our '08 clubman with the standard headlights suffers from a random low beam issue on the passenger side. We've changed the bulb (2x) and the problem persists. The low beam will just go out and won't come on until I disconnect and reconnect the harness at the bulb connection. I know the bulb is good because I can swap it to the drivers side and it works fine. I've inspected the harness and used a multimeter to confirm the harness is ok, though its an easy part to replace so I'm thinking to replace and take it out of the equation. Any other solution or recommendations? I know that on the HID system there is a control module, is there a control module for the standard headlights ? These are standard halogen bulbs not the HID system. Does anyone know the wire harness PN #?
Thanks
PS the car has 123,321 miles and its still runs like a top and it is getting 37mpg on the highway.

Sure it's not a terminal / bulb socket issue with any type of corrosion?
Have you used any dielectric grease on the bottom of the bulb?
