Hey guys...new member and a new owner. I have a 2012 non s clubman that I love and I have a few questions. I've searched and searched but have only found the airvip for a 2012 non s clubman. Is this the case or did I miss something? If this is the case I haven't seen any negative reviews so I guess this is not a bad way to go. The other question I have about this is will it void the warranty? I haven't had any experience with mini when it comes to warranty issues...only Vw and they were horrible. Thanks in advance for the feedback and thoughts.

I have the DDMWworks for mine. I believe it will install on a 2012. Some find it too rowdy for their taste - not me.

I've seen them from time to time in the marketplace. I've had mine in to the dealer and no one ever said a thing. It's a pretty harmless mod as far as I can tell...

 

I see what you mean about some sites that seem to exclude 2011 & 2012 model years. Outmotoring's site doesn't.

 

Thanks. When I've looked at the ddw it doesn't say it will fit a 12 only up to a 10. Being new i assumed the intake config changed thus it wouldn't fit my yr.

 

Thanks for the info. I'm checking out YouTube so i can hear the difference and will give a call to a few places to understand what's up with the 2010 issue and order one up.

 

the DDMworks intake has worked so far on all the 2011+ Coopers we've put them on. It is what I would recommend.

 

Way - part of mattclubman's search coming up in vain has to do with some vendors only showing the DDM working on *2008-2010* Clubmans. When you go to WMW, The DDM does come up when you roll through the '08+ R55 Clubman options, but once you get to the intake, it shows *2008-2010*. If I remember, 2011 was the year that MINI changed the lower grille, too so some may be left to wonder if anything under the bonnet changed at the same time. And then they move on...

 

I called DDM and VIP...DDM said that the reason why some sites don't say that it will fit on a 2012 was the fact that people haven't updated their sites. The tech said it doesn't even come close to the hood. FYI, i have called VIP all day and no one has answered....curious if they are off for presidents day or what.
