After market seat warmer installation issue

Looking for some help regarding installing aftermarket seat warmers in my 2009 clubman. I am told I cannot install them in the passenger side seat bottom because of the passenger sensor in the bottom of the seat.

Has anyone come across this and how did you resolve it?

That is correct. they will interfere with the seat occupancy sensor and may cause all kinds of strange problems like seat belt warning lights, failure of air bags to deploy and other issues.
