Clubman Lowering Springs
I have a 2011 Clubman S and I want to get a better stance. I have the Mini Sport Suspension already and I love the handling of it. I do want to lower the stance about 1 inch in the front and back. Most of the prings that I have seen are a 2 inch or more drop. What is the best springs to go with to keep the around town driving feel but get the desired drop. Also on a side not does the mini suffer from driveshaft failure when lowering the mini? I know on my scion Tc when I lowered it about 2 inches I have had to replace my driveshafts 2 times in 3 years. I just dont want to have to do the same thing with the mini. Any help or experince would be helpful. Thank You.

I'm sitting on NM springs on my 2011 clubman S. I liked the drop at first, but honestly it's just not enough and i want a little more. There is still a lot of gab between the wheels, so much so it's not as noticeable the car is lowered sitting next to a stock clubbie, ya really have to look to notice.
The ride isn't the greatest either, and actually with someone in the back it's not exactly fun. Too much bounce over some big bumps with weight in the car.
As soon as I have the funds available I'll be switching out to KW V1 coilovers after riding in a few cars with them. Should have done that from the start, but ya know, hind sight and all.
